SETIA stands for “Information Theory and its Applications Seminar”. It gathers in Chile researchers, students and general public interested or working on information theory related fields and applications. The first version of this event was organized by researchers from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile, on the 23th of April, 2010.
SETIA intends to become a meeting opportunity where people from Chile and abroad can learn, discuss and share new information-theory results, ideas and tools, as well as new applications and combinations with other research fields.
